tests: merge clients into libtests, drop duplicate code
libtests and clients were built the same way after recent overhauls.
libtests are used by runtests, clients by pytests.

Merge clients into libtests, aligning their entry function signature,
dropping common utility functions, and simplifying the build.

Note: After this patch `CURLDEBUG` applies to cli tests, when enabled.

Also:
- lib552: drop local copy-paste debug callback in favor of testtrace.
- lib552: drop local copy-paste dump function in favor of testtrace.
- clients: use `long` for HTTP version, drop casts.
- clients: replace local dump function in favor of testrace clone.
- sync cli test entry function prototype with libtests'.
- h2_serverpush: replace local trace callback with testtrace.
- de-duplicate 3 websocket close, ping, ping, functions. Kept the pong
iteration from `ws_pingpong`. Note: the pong clone in `lib2304` was
returning an error when `curl_ws_recv()` returned non-zero and
the payload matched the expected one anyway. After this patch, this
case returns success, as it does in `ws_pingpong`.
`lib2304` keeps passing, but I'm not sure if the previous behavior
  was intentional.
- display full value in websocket close, ping, pong, drop casts.

tests: bundle http clients, de-dupe, enable for MSVC
To make building the http client tests faster, with no duplication, by
using the build method that other test binaries already use.

The difference compared to other tests is that these don't use internal
libcurl headers or code. With the exception of `curl_config.h`, for
a feature macro.

Before this patch, these tests were built like examples.

Also:
- de-duplicate code and give unique names to colliding symbols.
- add local getopt implementation and enable all code for MSVC.

pytest test_07_70, weaken early data check
Since the amount of early data sent in the upload test_07_70 varies

http: fail early when rewind of input failed when following redirects
When inspecting a possible follow HTTP request, the result of a rewind
of the upload data was ignored as it was not clear at that point in time
if the request would become a GET.

This initiated the followup, rewound again, which failed again and
terminated the follow up.

This was confusing to users as it was not clear of the follow up was
done or not.

Fix: fail the early rewind when the request is not converted to GET.

pytest-xdist: pytest in parallel
Require now pytest-xdist from tests/http/requirements.txt and
run pytest in 'auto' parallel mode (counts cpu cores).

For CI runs, set the worker count to 4, overriding the
core count of 2 exposed in the images.

- use Filelock to generate allocated ports at start for all
workers and have subsequent workers just read the file and
take the ports for their slot
- make httpd config clearing a function fixture so every test
starts with a clean httpd config
- have fixture `configures_httpd` as parameter of test cases
that configure httpd anyway, saving one reload
- add pytest-xdist and filelock to required pyhton modules
- add installs to ruff CI
- give live checks waiting for a server to start up longer time
- add fixtures to tests that rely on a server
- do not stop servers unnecessarily. failures may not start them
properly again, leading to unexpected fails in whatever follows
- add a https: port to httpd that is *not* back by QUIC to allow
failover tests without stopping the QUIC server

multi: do transfer book keeping using mid
Change multi's book keeping of transfers to no longer use lists, but a
special table and bitsets for unsigned int values.

`multi-xfers` is the `uint_tbl` where `multi_add_handle()` inserts a new
transfer which assigns it a unique identifier `mid`. Use bitsets to keep
track of transfers that are in state "process" or "pending" or
"msgsent".

Use sparse bitsets to replace `conn->easyq` and event handlings tracking
of transfers per socket. Instead of pointers, keep the mids involved.

Provide base data structures and document them in docs/internal:
* `uint_tbl`: a table of transfers with `mid` as lookup key,
handing out a mid for adds between 0 - capacity.
* `uint_bset`: a bitset keeping unsigned ints from 0 - capacity.
* `uint_spbset`: a sparse bitset for keeping a small number of
  unsigned int values
* `uint_hash`: for associating `mid`s with a pointer.

This makes the `mid` the recommended way to refer to transfers inside
the same multi without risk of running into a UAF.

Modifying table and bitsets is safe while iterating over them. Overall
memory requirements are lower as with the double linked list apprach.

QUIC: 0RTT for gnutls via CURLSSLOPT_EARLYDATA
When a QUIC TLS session announced early data support and
'CURLSSLOPT_EARLYDATA' is set for the transfer, send initial request and
body (up to the 128k we buffer) as 0RTT when curl is built with
ngtcp2+gnutls.

QUIC 0RTT needs not only the TLS session but the QUIC transport
paramters as well. Store those and the earlydata max value together with
the session in the cache.

Add test case for h3 use of this. Enable quic early data in nghttpx for

mime: fix reader stall on small read lengths
The base64 mime encoder stalls when it cannot encode a full 3 byte input

TLS: TLSv1.3 earlydata support for curl
Based on #14135, implement TLSv1.3 earlydata support for the curl
command line, libcurl and its implementation in GnuTLS.

If a known TLS session announces early data support, and the feature is
enabled *and* it is not a "connect-only" transfer, delay the TLS
handshake until the first request is being sent.

- Add --tls-earldata as new boolean command line option for curl.
- Add CURLSSLOPT_EARLYDATA to libcurl to enable use of the feature.
- Add CURLINFO_EARLYDATA_SENT_T to libcurl, reporting the amount of
bytes sent and accepted/rejected by the server.

Implementation details:
- store the ALPN protocol selected at the SSL session.
- When reusing the session and enabling earlydata, use exactly
that ALPN protocol for negoptiation with the server. When the
sessions ALPN does not match the connections ALPN, earlydata
  will not be enabled.
- Check that the server selected the correct ALPN protocol for
an earlydata connect. If the server does not confirm or reports
  something different, the connect fails.
- HTTP/2: delay sending the initial SETTINGS frames during connect,
  if not connect-only.

Verification:
- add test_02_32 to verify earlydata GET with nghttpx.
- add test_07_70 to verify earlydata PUT with nghttpx.
- add support in 'hx-download', 'hx-upload' clients for the feature

http: expect 100 rework
Move all handling of HTTP's `Expect: 100-continue` feature into a client
reader. Add sending flag `KEEP_SEND_TIMED` that triggers transfer
sending on general events like a timer.

HTTP installs a `CURL_CR_PROTOCOL` reader when announcing `Expect:
100-continue`. That reader works as follows:

- on first invocation, records time, starts the `EXPIRE_100_TIMEOUT`
timer, disables `KEEP_SEND`, enables `KEEP_SEND_TIMER` and returns 0,
  eos=FALSE like a paused upload.

- on subsequent invocation it checks if the timer has expired. If so, it
enables `KEEP_SEND` and switches to passing through reads to the
  underlying readers.

Transfer handling's `readwrite()` will be invoked when a timer expires
(like `EXPIRE_100_TIMEOUT`) or when data from the server arrives. Seeing
`KEEP_SEND_TIMER`, it will try to upload more data, which triggers
reading from the client readers again. Which then may lead to a new
pausing or cause the upload to start.

Flags and timestamps connected to this have been moved from
`SingleRequest` into the reader's context.

http2: fix EOF handling on uploads with auth negotiation
- doing a POST with `--digest` does an override on the initial request
with `Content-Length: 0`, but the http2 filter was unaware of that
and expected the originally request body. It did therefore not

- The fix overrides any initial notion of post size when the `done_send`
event is triggered by the transfer loop, leading to the EOF that
  is necessary.
- refs #11194. The fault did not happen in testing, as Apache httpd
never tries to read the request body of the initial request,
sends the 401 reply and closes the stream. The server used in the
reported issue however tried to read the EOF and timed out on the
  request.

- in case the window is exhausted, the data remaining in the send buffer

that engages our transfer loop again
- the problem in the issue was that we did not exhaust the window, but
left data in the sendbuffer and no further socket events did happen.
The server was just waiting for us to send more.
- relatedly, there was an issue fixed that closing a stream with KEEP_HOLD
set kept the transfer from shutting down - as it should have - leading

closer to reality. Fix handling of send "drain" condition to no longer
trigger once the transfer loop reports it is done sending. Also do not
trigger the send "drain" on RST streams.

Background:
- a upload stall was reported in #11157 that timed out
- test_07_33a reproduces a problem with such a stall if the
server 404s the request and RSTs the stream.
- test_07_33b verifies a successful PUT, using the parameters
  from #11157 and checks success

proxy: http2 proxy tunnel implementation
- currently only on debug build and when env variable
  CURL_PROXY_TUNNEL_H2 is present.
- will ALPN negotiate with the proxy server and switch
tunnel filter based on the protocol negotiated.
- http/1.1 tunnel code moved into cf-h1-proxy.[ch]
- http/2 tunnel code implemented in cf-h2-proxy.[ch]
- tunnel start and ALPN set remains in http_proxy.c
- moving all haproxy related code into cf-haproxy.[ch]

VTLS changes
- SSL filters rely solely on the "alpn" specification they
are created with and no longer check conn->bits.tls_enable_alpn.
- checks on which ALPN specification to use (or none at all) are
done in vtls.c when creating the filter.

Testing
- added a nghttpx forward proxy to the pytest setup that
speaks HTTP/2 and forwards all requests to the Apache httpd
  forward proxy server.
- extending test coverage in test_10 cases
- adding proxy tests for direct/tunnel h1/h2 use of basic auth.
- adding test for http/1.1 and h2 proxy tunneling to pytest

http3: improvements across backends
- ngtcp2: using bufq for recv stream data
- internal stream_ctx instead of `struct HTTP` members
  for quiche, ngtcp2 and msh3
- no more QUIC related members in `struct HTTP`
- experimental use of recvmmsg(), disabled by default
  - testing on my old debian box shows no throughput improvements.
  - leaving it in, but disabled, for future revisit
- vquic: common UDP receive code for ngtcp2 and quiche
- vquic: common UDP send code for ngtcp2 and quiche
- added pytest skips for known msh3 failures
- fix unit2601 to survive torture testing
- quiche: using latest `master` from quiche and enabling large download
tests, now that key change is supported
- fixing test_07_21 where retry handling of starting a stream
  was faulty
- msh3: use bufq for recv buffering headers and data
- msh3: replace fprintf debug logging with LOG_CF where possible
- msh3: force QUIC expire timers on recv/send to have more than
  1 request per second served

http2: flow control and buffer improvements
- use bufq for send/receive of network data
- usd bufq for send/receive of stream data
- use HTTP/2 flow control with no-auto updates to control the
amount of data we are buffering for a stream
HTTP/2 stream window set to 128K after local tests, defined
  code constant for now
- elminiating PAUSEing nghttp2 processing when receiving data
since a stream can now take in all DATA nghttp2 forwards

Improved scorecard and adjuste http2 stream window sizes
- scorecard improved output formatting and options default
- scorecard now also benchmarks small requests / second
